Choosing our Location

As we have looked at a number of different locations during our research period, it is important that we chose based on not only what will be the most effective and beneficial for us, but also what will suit our music video the best. We have therefore come to the decision that Brooke House will be our location to film our music video for "Control". We have decided this as we think that the lack of supervision needed, as well as the lack of visitors or people that we would have to cut out or avoid will give us a more relaxed and easy filming period. We also felt that there would be more opportunity for us to experiment with our character without feeling as though we would be inconveniencing any location owners. Since we do not have to pay to use Brooke House, and have a longer amount of time to spend there, we will be able to practice filming and lighting use, as well as being able to determine which rooms would be good and which wouldn't, without having to have pre-booked them.

In terms of shots, the house provides us with the rooms and facilities we need, such as a bathtub and hallways. Therefore, we will only need to bring items such as a baseball bat and any mirrors, if we decide to use them.
