Titled under "K-Pop", the Korean band mix rap and vocals with modern beats to create a new and unique genre of music. To match their music, they commonly have strong choreography that encourages people to watch their music videos. These Performance music videos are usually made using a continuous shot, to keep the flow but to also evoke a more eye catching experience.

The group was formed in 2013 with the debut song "No More Dream". This song was successful and helped them to build a strong audience. Their most popular hits include:

Their first mini-album, "2 Cool 4 Skool", was released in 2013 and targeted a niche of heavier music and rapping. You can read more about this album here. It is part of a trilogy of albums, the other two being "O!RUL8,2?" and "Skool Luv Affair". The three mini-albums all follow a similar theme and target a similar niche; however, "Skool Luv Affair" has a more varied music style, with some slower and some faster songs.

A full-length album named "Dark and Wild" was released in 2014 and included a variety of different styled songs. In order to understand this, here is a link to listen to the album.

Another two mini-albums, "The Most Beautiful Moment In Life", were released two years later that attracted a softer niche audience. The music focuses more on morals and narratives to tell a story. This meant that the group were able to experiment with styles of music, as well as reaching out to a bigger and more generalised audience. The albums were brought together in "The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever", which ultimately rounded off the stories being told. To listen to the full album, click its cover art photo.

The group released "Wings" in October 2016, with the feature song "Blood, Sweat and Tears". This album and its increasing popularity led to the group winning a number of different awards, including the Billboard Music Award for "Top Social Artist". Here is a video of their acceptance speech.

BTS have just finished a World Tour, which was said to have sold out within minutes of tickets being released. This helped to raise their popularity overseas and attract a larger audience. A new album, "Love Yourself: Her" was recently released and incorporates both an electric style as well as an accoustic one. Here is a link to their title song, "DNA", from the album.
